Lake City's 3rd Annual Garage/Yard Sale – May 22 The Chamber is currently looking for you to call us up and tell us you want to have your garage/yard sale on May 16th. For $3 we will list it on a flyer. If it's within the City limits we will even show it on the map on the flyer. To get included on these flyers you need to contact us prior to April 25 and live in Missaukee County! The maps will be available in many area businesses and at the Chamber office. It is also the same day the Kiwanis are having their annual auction. This year's auction will be held at the American Legion, Post #300 in Lake City beginning at 3 p.m. You can bet that the people who were on this map last year will want to do it again, that is if they have anything left to sell! All reported that it was their best yard sale ever!
Business After 5
The next Business After 5 will be held at the Lake City Eagles from 5-7 p.m. A time to meet people, network, and socialize. Lots of fun with hors d'oeuvres, 50/50's, door prizes and more! Open to the public. Small fee to attend. Exact date will be announced soon.
Greatest Fourth in the North – June 30 – July 4
This celebration has something to offer everyone in the family and the theme this year is ???. Grand Parade, Ox Roast, Free Professional Entertainment Shows, Children's Parade, Beach Volleyball Competition 5k, 10k, 2k, fun run, Battle of the Bands, Strolling Entertainment, Karaoke Contest, an Arts & Crafts Show, Fireworks which will be shot off from barges on Lake Missaukee , and more! Plus we will raffle off a brand new car!
Street Fair & Car Show – August 14
Local merchant sales, arts, crafts, baked goods and more. don't miss this Saturday of shopping on the lovely streets of Lake City. a car show, organized by the Northern Cruisers Car Club is a big draw on Saturday and offers many activities. The Norern Cruisers Car Club also offers a cruise Friday evening.
